Wing texturing issue
Hi, guys. I'm trying to texture a low poly wing with some normal maps that I'd created, but I end up with a very hard, unrealistic result. Do you have any tips on how to approach it? I've tried using a ramp in the transparency channel, but it didn't do any good... -
Dot ring/loop maya
Is there a mel script or easy way of selecting every other edge on a ring or loop like the dot loop function from polyboost/graphite tools in max? I'm using maya 8. -

Hey GuysI've modelled this X-Wing 1 1/2 month ago. The Texturing was a bit more challenging for me, because I dont have that much expirience in it. Finally I've textured it in Substance Painter 2 days ago. The modeling part was done in Blender, rendered in Cycles. I hope you like it! -

The feet look much better for sure. The belt may need to be a bit higher and work on the texture so it fits better. The belt kind of bugs me because the curve profile is is the same top and bottom. If it was broken up a little with some variation in the actual shape without adding more pieces, I think it would look better.…
