Hi guys, i'm currently trying to learn how to sculpt a head in Zbrush these are the results of my latest sculpting i usually sculpt from a basic sphere with a reference image, and i use dynamesh. i'm aware that my sculpt is still far from decent, and if you guys have any feedback as to how i should practice sculpting or…
hello everybody, thanks for the response on my previous posts. Im trying hard paying attention to detail on faces. For this one i grabbed a photo of a bloke with an interesting head shape off of 3d.sk and modeled it. I'm mainly trying to improve my use of edge loops, and overall quality. I believe im getting better than my…
It was suggested by a friend that if I wanted to do character sculpting (my goal) I should do some drawings of this head. I'd appreciate any comments for these first two sketches. I felt much more confident with getting the general shape and proportion down on the second front-view. I ended up getting it down a lot faster.
I am new to texturing in general, but I have wanted to create realistic heads for so long. I have watched several tutorials, getting the idea that the diffuse skin should have little to no shadows or highlights. But I was wondering, what is too much contrast in skin? For example, would this work? Or is this too much? Thank…
Ok basically ive done a normal mapped head and if u look at the screenshot, particularly the ear it looks really angular. I know that i could solve this by putting in more geometry in there for the low poly. I just wanted to know if this is normal and if it would be acceptable for a fairly low poly character.
Hey - I intend to unwrap my lowpoly head this way - but I'm not sure if it will create a normalmap seam along the edge? Can I just flip the mesh and uvs to one side, attach and bake? Or do I need to bake first and then flip mesh and uvs and attach? Thx for any input :)
Hi guys, I recently tried to sculpt a head based on references that i found on pinterest. It's still far from perfect and that is why i would like to ask for some feedback from you guys. Thank you:smile: Here are some of the references : And here are some picture of my sculpt
Looks pretty damn nice, would have preferred to see more exaggerated examples (as well) for the sub surface scattering. I kept looking at his ears for the most obvious sign, but couldn't spot it there. http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/video-nvidias-amazing-human-head-demo
Hey guys just thought I would stop on by and post something that I just started tonight. I decided to take a small break from my t-recks and sculpted marcus fenix's head. This is my first human face sculpt in Zbrush and I'm pretty pleased with the result. I actually didn't use a base mesh for this one either, but started…
