Re-baking textures to new uv pack/atlas?
Is there any new and cool preferably semi-automatic way to do so ? with normal maps self correcting for rotating factor, combining separate things in one single texture atlas? -
Good hard surface texturing tutorial in Mudbox anyone?
Don't think I can add anything more than it's in the title. Except texturing software may be Photoshop or Mari. By "hard surface" I mean objects like weapons. -

How can one create flipbook textures?
A google search doesn't turn up anything for me. So, I've come to my friends at polycount. Is there any way to create flipbook textures -- *For free? *quickly *That don't look like a jarlbed mash of pixels on a screen? Thanks in advance, polycount! -
3ds max fur, render to texture bake.
I am making this squirrel and wanted to use the Fur modifier and do a render to texture bake but I am not sure if that is possible...any ideas? I just see these amazing results from the fur modifier and wanted to bake it onto a map. -

CAD to Poly - Texturing Question
I have a CAD file that I need to texture. The problem is that when I import the CAD file into Max and convert to polys, the resulting geometry is very dense and messy (lots of stretched triangles and poles), which causes a lot of problems when uv unwrapping. Solved: Model's Triangles Showing Up In The Textures
Hey everyone, hope all is going well! This is a first for me once again: the UV lines of the triangulated model are showing on the textures. I'm curious as to what I've done wrong this time. It doesn't seem to show up everywhere, just on the pants and the (not pictured) shirt sleeves. Thanks, and take care!
