For head lengths, it would be a good idea to hide the hat and the hair so that your measuring with the full head to get a more accurate measurement. I overlayed a diagram of 8 heads tall figure as a point of reference. (Scaled so that the head and facial features match your model) You're probably too far into the process…
think you'd need to preprocess the mesh and encode the per vertex ratio of uv density to spatial density in say a vertex alpha channel. not sure on the best method to compute this but off the top of my head I'd say.... <area of all faces used by the vert >/<area of all map faces used by the vert>
Hey, interested in comissioning someone to sculpt a 3d head for me; the head I'm looking to have created is a stylized 3D comic head to be used on a 1/6 figure. Not looking for the rest of the body to be sculpted, only the head! PM me if you're interested, I'm open to all offers. Thanks!!
Here is my first study of a male head. I would appreciate feedback on the overall proportions and anatomy, such as the bony landmarks of the skull, muscles, and placement of facial features. Any advice or tips you are willing to share would be helpful. Thanks!
