My suggestion wasn't to reduce the amount of polys. Increasing your mesh's size in world space will increase its polycount after Dynameshing, as Dynamesh's resolution is set in world space. The result you're getting is similar to what happens when you Dynamesh something with a hole or twisted, self-penetrating polygons so…
Hey guys, I'm trying to dynamesh a model but every time I run dynamesh, it results in a completely broken, shattered model. I've tried using different resolutions as well as scaling the model down but it still seams to result in a broken model. Any ideas?
hi. when sculpting characters i normally sculpt the head and body separately. when finished i'll merge the subtools down. to connect the pieces i'll often dynamesh the merged subtool. the problem i run into is that even with dynamesh set to a really high value, for the smaller parts of the mesh eg. the fingers, dynameshing…
Hi, Created a cube, duplicated it several times and sculpted details. Then merged all of the subtools together and tried to create one solid mesh by runnign dynamesh on it. Dynamesh created several small holes and wrecked the whole mesh. What am I doing wrong? :/ Thanks in advance!
Hey guys! I'm having nasty issue with ZBrushCore regarding dynamesh. When I try to increase dynamesh resolution at imported model it doesn't update, active points count remains the same. I've tried smoothing, sculpting mesh before update dynamesh but it doesn't work. On other hand the same stuff work great with Dynamesh…
If you use dynamesh, create seperate polygroups and turn on dynameshing with groups. It will split the mesh into a few seperate closed meshes. You can then use another dynamesh to weld them to the hand again once you split them.
