I brought the cushioned part of a chair into Zbrush from Max - made a little messily as I had dynamesh in mind. However, when I go to run the operation I get a weird lump artifact over the seat pattern detail. Before and after Dynamesh
I tried projecting this down onto the original mesh and had slightly better (but still totally unusable) results Disassembly of the original chair in Max
I initially thought it might be being caused by the holes in the two main cushion pieces, and reproduced the dynamesh and the projection workflow with a version where they'd been properly capped, but got the same results.
This is almost certainly user error in how I put the original piece together, but is anyone able to spot a workaround?
