Hey all, Not sure if this is the correct place to post but anyways.. Wanted to login from my epic games account from my laptop and keep getting this type of captcha thats impossible or too hard to solve. Please fix this EPIC.
Something Ive out together in few hours today, so a quickie. Hope you like it and feedback is welcome. I know there are lightmap errors on those meshes, which I couldnt solve on my own. They are UV mappd correctly as well so idk.
Hi. I ran into a problem trying to subdivide my lil axe when exporting it to Mudbox. Not very good at problem solving as im a pretty shitty modeler and i allways mess things up not knowing the rules of quad modeling :'(
I came to write something clever and insightful, and here you are basically stealing the words out of my mouth, this 100%. I'm always surprised how much stuff actually just solves itself if you just stay cool for a bit hehe.
I found the issue - You have to either check off "Use Project Path" or enter a directory for saving the rendering to history. Otherwise the button to save to history remains greyed out. Problem solved. Thanks anyway! :)
There are quite a lot of posts about stuff not rendering (you could check the filters list at the top of the object menu). Anyhow you would want to solve this problem in case it reoccurs. You might also try: https://blenderartists.org/ I got nuthin 🤔
Dude you're a genius, I didn't think about that but it's totally working. Best way to solve an issue sometimes is to counter it ah ah. Well, if someone has the answer to my original problem, I am still interested
Here is a more interesting model which I exported from Magicvoxel as slices, and then I made a volume texture asset from it inside Unreal. This also solves the question of mip maps which I will need for the octree.
Oh I see. Sounds familiar... Let me check out a project. I remember having some issues with this, but I don't remember if I managed to solve it at the end. I'll get back to you soon.
Okay solved the issue. I gave the projection cage's push-amount one tiny click upwards and they dissapeared. It had nothin to do with overlapping issues but seemed more like a glitch. Over and out...blip...blip...
