Yeah, I think corv is spot on. The main thing he needs now is some solid deffinition. other than that though your model looks good to me and your tex is pretty decent. I just read through most of the thread and I must commend you on keeping a cool head and sticking to this and seeing it through. I'd say you've probably…
the lightin in the pic confuzzles me. under the chin nose and uper lip is dark, which leads me to believe its being lit from above and front. But there is no shadow from the hat, which makes it look really just tacked on. adjust your lighting to be more realistic. and it may help the normals pop a bit more. also the hair…
cheers JBB, and yea if you read my first post you would have answered half of your own questions, and as for the high and low poly yes i know the high poly really didnt have much to show for the low poly, cause i really didnt have any ideas for this model there was no reference involved it was just from the top of my head…
I've just started head sketches with Zbrush and I'm beginning to be able to appreciate how hard it is to do that in 30 and 15 minutes :) . I prefer the second model as well. Hi all, I'm currently in the middle of my first realistic anatomy study and was hoping to gain some feedback on my progress so far. Ignoring the head and feet please let me know if anything bad/incorrect jumps out to you. I'd also be interested in hearing any tips, techniques or learning materials you may recommend.…
Is the camera in Zbrush correct now? I have been reading about ZBrush camera being different from cameras in 3dsmax, Maya or Blender and because of this when sculpting likeness the 3d model's porportions will be incorrect when imported to these 3d appliactions. What is the correct focal length to sculpt in ZBrush? 50? If I…
Long time no post! And yes it's for a sci-fi corridor! :D This time it's going to be a spaceship corridor that leads into a gunner station. The non futuristic refers to the WW2 feel I'm searching for. Need to be done : -Space skybox, and probably a planet -Low rez for the machine gun -Props (ammo boxes, gunner seat, radio…
