Let's say I want to add a stereo jack or a USB port to a smartphone I'm modeling. I don't want it to be modeled -- it's a lower poly model -- but I want the normals. Do I have to model it out, or is there a different way using alphas/bitmaps? How would I accomplish this (using Maya/Substance)? Thanks!
