When I toggle on "textured" in maya's viewport panel I get these hella gross hard shadows. Can I turn this off or adjust it? Or have I broken something?
Is there a maya tool/plugin/script out there that enables a shift+rotate gizmo that behaves likes max? I swear I spend an hour a day typing 90 into the channel box.

Hi everyone, I've been wondering if anyone knows a script or a way to effectively delete garbage/empty groups from the outliner in maya. I'm attaching an example. I tried to use Optimize -> Delete empty transforms but it didn't work so.. yeah.. Thanks in advance!
Hello, i'm looking for a way to export my animation from maya to unreal4 the twist is that my rig is made from a couple of mesh that are parent to the joints. So when i export in unreal my mesh does not move. thanks for any help in advance :smile:
Is there a easy or automatic way to select those new faces after making a Bevel to an object inside Maya? With 3dsmax and Quadchamfer, I could apply a different ID to those new created faces and I could select those easily. Any tips or scripts are welcome :)
