Is there a maya tool/plugin/script out there that enables a shift+rotate gizmo that behaves likes max? I swear I spend an hour a day typing 90 into the channel box.
I can't remember what shortcut it is, but you can punch like Alt+J or something, to toggle it. Other then that, just frekking change the shortcut to shift then!!!!!!!!!!!
You have to hold down J before actually rotating... and I have to look for the J key every time. Still better than punching in 90 though
Pro-keyboarding Tip: J is one of the home row keys, and should sit under your right index finger when you place your hands on the keyboard. Its also one of only two letter keys to have a physical indicator on the button to help you find it without looking. The other key is F, the key that should be under your left index finger when you first place your hands on the keyboard.

EDIT: Madcow beat me to it.
It was the same thing with being able to hold down d to change pivot instead pressing insert, and also snapping shortcuts :P

Thanks guys
Honestly, I put this in general because I feel like tech talk doesn't get a lot of traffic.
