feels like a pretty redundant debate to be having a. fundamentally you'd use whatever methods and processes at your disposal to develop the best work possible. end of story. no sense shutting yourself down and getting precious in any one scheme to add to the example of kite's mean concept sculpts. i seen some of the guys…
Thanks a ton guys ! I forgot to set up a livestream for this but I promise I'll do it soon ;) I the meantime, there should be a 8 hours workshop I did that will be available at zbrushworkshop soon, about my workflow to do armor stuff. I will keep you up to date ;) I also a did a quick gif to explain my render, I hope it'll…

Your resume is very wordy, you've got whole paragraphs that can be summed up in one sentence. I'd recommend resume/cover letter building workshop. I did one and I crafted my resume into a red hot weapon of destruction. 2 months later, I was jobified. You're a better artist than me so I'm just assuming you need help with…
It's very unfortunate and must be terrible for Jason Manley and the MB crew - I'm pretty sure James Zhang went to art school with most of the senior management at MB, he was a friend of theirs... to do something like this is majorly stupid and saddening. I remember seeing a lecture of his at the ConceptArt.org workshop in…
Thanks pablohurtado, I fixed that. Thank you Brandon.LaFrance, I guess looking at the character for too long made me forget the important things like proportions! I did some corrections and used my Anatomy figure from the Grnomon workshop as a guide so it should be OK now. Ouf! I was trying to do the most today so I could…
Thanks mate for your sincerity! This was a project done during Gilberto's magno Workshop! I tried to follow my own concept, and this is the results! This is my first low poly game ready character, im really proud for being the first.. :) Next time i hope to maybe, follow a concept trying to don't do the mistakes that u…
It does look nice in the 3d-coat, yeah, but the thing is that in-game there will be extra leather texture over whole grip (at least it used to be like that when I was working with deag), and it could spoil the shapes. That is also why you don't see a lot of skins on workshop that try to run away from standard grip shape.…
Hey! This looks awesome. I would love to see a bit of a value gradient on this character. The brightness is the same all over, which makes it read a bit too "busy". Some great guidelines here for color and value https://support.steampowered.com/kb/9334-YDXV-8590/dota-2-workshop-character-art-guide You might be done for the…
Just keep modeling and sculpting. Both options are good too handle. As you keep modeling you start to internalize and develop an non-intellectual understanding of it all. But best advice is just to rinse and repeat. Zbrush has come far in hard surface modeling now as well. If you can get the introduction course from gnomon…
