Making art for games kicks ass
I find myself posting on Polycount a decent amount these days. I often end up posting about the difficulty in getting jobs due to over-supply of artists, and similar negative (but realistic, I think) points of consideration. I feel like I tell plenty of people that their dream of establishing a killer career working on AAA… -

our character team swear by these tools https://faceform.am/ but if you dont want to spend money, you should be able to fumble your way through with standard retopo tools -

I use 'M' to activate the tweak component tool, then 'L' to toggle it into welding mode. You need to use a different tool. If you use the Line tool (it's right next to the Freehand Brush tool on the toolbar), it draws lines using the Brush Preset that is selected, with dynamics and all, as if you were drawing by hand.
