Back with my update - I filled up the shelfes a bit more and added the curtain. There is not actually much I can do to soften up the shadows due to the toon shader I am using in the scene.
In this thread, I'm going to post the animations that I'm working on. I'm still trying to improve so any critique is welcome and appreciated. I'm using toon boom harmony to animate so if you have any tips or tricks for that as well that would be awesome.
i thought you already had one of these going :P nice work regardless, im really digging that badger and the recent toon shaded fellow i want your fold sculpting skillz peaz?
Looks like an Ink or Toon shader would do the trick here, unfortunately i can't tell how to create them in Unity. But at least the names might help you to do some more research.
I'm glad to see a lot of people have gone warlock! My lock on Dalaran is my all-time favorite toon. They are invaluable in PvE and with the right gear can be a seriously underestimated and effective force in PvP.
Guilty Gear baked vertex normal from a simpler mesh. Give it a try if Blender toon shade can pick that up. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-kIFTNf68_YU/U9X6RkBS3XI/AAAAAAAAAxU/rKllj06qsA8/s1600/060.jpg
Sure, Mario stands out. The toons in Who Framed Roger Rabbit stood out too. Wreck-It Ralph had mismatched styles and themes. It doesn't always work, but it can. I think it works here.
Hello, I've been studying different animations and have been trying to recreate certain styles. So far, outlines seem to be the hardest thing to replicate. A classmate showed me this book and I found this outline that I want to recreate, but the writer didn't provide sufficient information (plus, I can't speak Japanese).…
Hello!! Hope you all like this Alastor sword model from Devil May Cry. The toon style is inspired from the concept by George Selps from capcom-unity for 10th anniversary of devil may cry. Thank you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to6ip1Fr2ms
Haha yeah, drinks on the toon will never be the same again. I loved that drink even more knowing it was brewed with passion from real northerners. I swear it is just the pure water taken from the tyne lol
