Different types of normal maps?
Why do some normal maps in 3D engines differ in color? For example: In one normal map the "neutral" color appears to be grey (#7F7F7F), but in another blue (#7F7FFF). -

Maya how to reset values in sliders if you have typed in a higher value?
So in Maya it has this feature of all slider bars that lets you over drive them, for example the range might be 0-1, but I can type 2 in and then the slider bar becomes 0-2 and becomes more sensitive.
