"Age of Monotremes"; Sci-Fi Creature Nature Documentary; Looking for Animators

Hey y’all! I’m Vincent, a freelance concept artist and Ringling graduate, specializing in creature design. I, joined by many talented professionals and funded by Patreon, am developing “Age of Monotremes”, a pitch for a 3D-animated documentary-style show about speculative evolution, and I'm looking for animators to help with a short scene for this pitch! :0 🎨🧑‍🎨🖌️

“In this alternate timeline, the extinction that killed off the dinosaurs was a lot more severe, killing off nearly all mammals except for the egg-laying monotremes, such as the platypus and echidna. In this documentary-style program, explore a timeline where monotremes rule the Earth in a staggering variety of species, from tiny vermin and giant predators, to roaming herds and ocean titans.”

We are currently working on a 2-minute test animation (primarily in Blender, although we work with those using other programs like Maya), centered around an herbivorous species called the Yoa (pictured above), as a male defends his herd from a rival. It will comprise of roughly 24 shots, and we hope to get around 12 animators involved, each of whom will have 2 shots to work on, each 10 seconds long at most. Models are being finished right now and will be rigged soon after.

To any animators interested in getting involved, please message me or email me at (vingirgenti@gmail.com) with a link to your portfolio!
