Hey I love mayas quad draw tool to retop inside of maya but the pproblem is that it's just really slow for me my live surface only has around 50k tris. But every time i try to create a quad or smooth quads it takes so long any one know how to fix this? I tried deleting history but it doesn't really fix the problem.
What version of Maya are you running? There might be an update on Alias.com that would resolve that. I've had that happen before. Most times I just end up restarting. Doesn't maya do the colored mesh weighting thing when you're skinning like Max does? I always thought thats where discreet stole the idea from.
