I have done some screens, pretty much wrapping my work on this up. This is an 8K model of a Zergling, textured, rigged and animated; displayed in the Unreal III engine. I will most likely do a much higher res video for demonstration of the character model in real time soon. *Images* . . . . . 1024x1024 maps .
hmm, the problem is im making a rope around a characters arm. created the curve, but i cant figure out how to extrude a pattern along that curve. this is the type of rope im going for. http://www.stairropes.com/images/stair_rope_outcornerbig.jpg like in the video you posted, how would you wrap that now around something?
Ummm, a red twizzler? Hehe, I recently changed it to brown, so it would be more of a wrapped leather. I am trying to make it look like a 'not so good' sword, well used. I am glad you like the helmet, I was thinking it was too dark. Black Knight dark almost.
Something exactly like that, but I want to see it on a face. Not only do I want to see a nose shadow behaving like that metal strip, where it's sharper at the base and fuzzier at the tip, but I also want to see that shadowing effect the pores and texture in the normal map as the surface wraps away from the light.

Well, this is special... In my opinion brings a whole new meaning too describe 'photo-real', especially the parts layout which looks as though this weapon was stripped, per the manual and the frayed end 'comms' cord, wrapped around the stock nicely caps off the overall realistic aesthetic.
