Starting to attack the LoL Season 3 DigiArt Contest. here are a couple of thumbs I've started wtih. Wanted to do a situation where Swain is practicing the spell burn from Liandry's Torment on test dummy Minions. HIlarity ensues. Which thumbs do you think are working?
I got alot of comments regarding Lux and quinn. Jarvan's pose and angle was really bothering me, so I spent a whole day fixing them. I also drew in Sion and swain in the back. I rearranged all characters and fixed the composition to make it less chaotic.
keeping it going. In this design im noticing less is more. But if you look at adi's art, His iron man has this sort of White noise, water stained look on his armor. Im still trying to figure out how to replicate that. Im about finished with the head. Render:
metal texture has wayyyy too much overlays on it making it read more as some stained rock or concreate than metal. And stylisticly completely different from the chain link gloves, those dont fit at all. Johny is right too, the lightsource for the metal looks a bit random.

How do I export animation for couriers and wards? Just grab the skeleton with the animation and .fbx it? If so, how do I export just a specific frame range (i.e. 00-30 spawn, 30-60 idle etc)
I think the light from the side of the walls at the top of the church is kind of drawing your eyes away from the statue, maybe there could be moon light coming out of the stained glass window onto the statue, something like this maybe:
By tower I assume you mean monster spawn, have you even played Dungeon Defenders? 4 paths each to three crystals would make me want to do nothing more than strangle the level designer.
