your going about the shadows all wrong, the are ending up being drop chadows and making your sprites looking like they are floating in mid air. -

any reason you included the ridges on the low poly instead of saving 60 tris and just have them floating/intersect? did that not work as well? -

AO problem
Hello I am having problems with my AO map, not sure what I am doing wrong! I seem to be getting black areas, is this because there is floating geometry behind it? how do I fix this? in Photoshop? -
