Froyok's original avatar right now is the MSN Butterfly Logo.
The quickest solution I can think of is simply cleaning up/deleting any cookies, information, etc. about PC from my browser's history/memory, but I'm not too sure how I can go about that.
Ah, that's strange, firefox usually handles things very well. Hmm, clearing the cache does sound like a good idea to start with now that you mention it.
I don't think there's a way for cleaning out the cache for a specific page though, at least not without an addon. But to clean all of it you just go into the option menu > Advanced panel > Network tab And then click 'Clear now' in the Cached Web Content section.
If it still doesn't work, you might want to make sure you have the latest version of firefox. And beyond that I'm not quite sure what to add to it at the moment.
@Adam: Thanks, will have to look into it, but I think I found out how to specific Force-Refresh a page (Ctrl + F5), and yes, it is very strange indeed.
EDIT: OK, Force-Refresh reset PC for me, and it seems to have corrected any of the issues plaguing it, cheers guys.
This used to be a really common problem for me but I usually got the quote or reply text replaced with images. Haven't happened in a long time now. Sorry for not being any helpful just wanted to say that you aren't alone with this problem. Firefox user here also.

Look at it this way, at least it's not YOUR avatar.

However, if I check the floating image, this is what I get:
