AO problem

Hello I am having problems with my AO map, not sure what I am doing wrong!

I seem to be getting black areas, is this because there is floating geometry behind it? how do I fix this? in Photoshop?

Is the UV shell for the front overlapping the back? Try giving them their own unique space and then rebake.

Thanks for the quick responses, I have just figured it out, the back and the front of the chair is sharing the same UV space, and I need to give the front part it's own unique space, you were right Mark, cheers!
