Hey guys, first post here ! I'm currently working on an Orc character mainly inspired by Warcraft. I'm still quite new to Zbrush, and i've been focusing mainly on organical shapes until now. Hey polycount! This is a character I created for my FYP at university. Though its one of my best models, I want to rework it from the high poly model and try to create a character model (hopefully) worthy of being my first portfolio piece. So Im looking to the people at polycount for guidance on getting it up to…

Hello everyone, first thread here for me! I'd like to share this model I've made while following Katon Callaway's CGSociety course High-End Fantasy Game Art Creation. I loved watching these as a kid, they always dragged you into the story like it should be. @almighty_gir: the series were never racist iirc, if you refer towards the comicbooks then you need to realize that the first ones were made around the 1930's.
Always have a back up plan! Whether disasters be natural or man-made, they happen and you got to deal with them. It just particularly irks me when humans create problems from nothing -- as if there isn't enough real problems to deal with.
I'd flatten the whole thing out into a circle - that's how you'd actually upholster it. as far as dealing with seams goes - it's basically down to UVs or digging out that node i mentioned earlier - iirc it won't help you on curved edges though
