Yes, it was due to 8bit format since that only exports out as low quality and my preset was set as high. Re-exported with 16 bit, and it is appearing better than it did before in the engine, however some edges are still rendering very dark when the normal map is applied to the object. Don't know what is causing this, since…
Personally I disagree with @dlz about the 16-sided and 8-sided cylinder, in theory yeah it's fine but that will leave you with an unusable lowpoly for later on (unless you want to go for super lowpoly mesh, but then again you will have a wavy normal map along the edges) and also when you continue on extruding the cylinder,…
Solved. When i use the ColorMap (Blockoutmap) from TexTools it makes problems. So i opened the Blockoutmap and set my own Colors to the map. Every Part of the Mesh has his own color. Maybe there was to much colors? I tried to change the Mode from 8 Bit to 16 Bit, but that not helped, too. My own Colors are at the moment…
I've tested the process to bake a map into vertex color on a simple sphere. And it does what it is meant to do. Here map baked on 128 and 16 sements spheres. I don't have an example with a AO from a highpoly baked onto vertex color, which is anyway the same process and probably the same result as baking directly AO into…

WIP WIP WIP :) So after switching the image I saw that my composition was kinda stifling so I changed the image to a 16/9 ratio to gain some space . I also detailed the background more, even if there is still a lot of work to do until friday night! PS: I'm re-making the top pf the watch because the old one looked odd to me.
I haven't seen a movie that actually "scared" me since the first Nightmare on Elm Street when I was about 16 (by "scare" I mean I lost sleep at night, not just the "boo!" jump, heart skip effect that is commonplace in the genre). I'm more looking for what everyone's favorites are in the "horror / splatter / scary " movie…
