Eric I tried that out on a simplified shape and it worked really well. Cheers. Just for reference we have figured out 3 ways of doing this now. 1 : Use a displacement map as Eric suggested and animate the thing along a path and animate the UV offset accordingly 2 : Use masks of some kind.
