Just a small update, not to sure whether its realistic, I understand the symmetry is a bad way to go, but the technique is a combination of Standard, Hpol and Smoothing, Is this method effective? Or would anyone recommend a better method, this was only a 30/40 minute case study but the results seem fairly accurate. C&C… -

I think you need to do way more of these, you're at a -very- early stage and there is lots to improve, but you'll naturally figure out what and why, don't worry about getting critique on this one in particular. Invest your time in one that really takes you some time and then ask for C&C -

Nice stuff so far, folks! Here's my progress (not made much since last time, been hard keeping motivated :P ) Decided to refine the flagpoles to better reflect wings, dropped the two longest flags as they muddied her silhouette. On to finer details and painting next. C&C welcomed as always! -

First Attempt at Concept art
Hi peeps. I am an environment artist currently working in the game industry. I primarily work in 3d (I LOVE ZBrush!!) but recently I've been getting bolder with my 2d stuff.
