WIP - Calico assault rifle

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some crits on my latest work in progress - it's a calico assault rifle for a battlefield2 modification 'Tiberian Dawn: Conspiracy of Nod', which is a mod based on the original C&C!
The model is not mine, only the textures. Heres a WIP render for you to critique!
