I want to bake a procedural texture in Maya, but only a selected procedural texture in my shader tree is this possible, must I create a custom shader of the procedural texture and apply to the Texture bake set attributes > custom shader ?
Hi, everytime I import my fbx model into Marmoset some of the parts aren't showing up. In Blender everything looks fine and when I imported the same model into substance painter everything showed up fine and I was able to texture everything without issue. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
I made this model in blender, baked the cards in marmoset toolbag and textured it in substance painter. I would like to know your opinion about this model and comments on obvious errors. Thank you.
I know the common workflow for texturing interiors is using tileble textures with combination of decals/alphas, but hypotetically speaking, if you would HAVE TO use one texture for one wall of squarish living-room type of an interior (so four big textures in total), what texture size would you use for best quality in…

This is a 1024 texture This is Unity packed Of course, it's worth a shot in a 512 texture too. It is not extremely bad in 512, but I wouldn't…
If you are texturing for mobile games (128 texture), do you need to leave space along the texture borders in order to avoid texture bleed? Or can you maximize your space and use every pixel?
Hi! I'm stuck. I don't really know what else can I do with my textures on this model. My biggest pain are the stripes, I have no idea how can I make them look good in Substance Painter. Should I give every stripe a separate ID and change texture direction separately? Are my choices of materials even any good? Thanks!
