Hello polycounters! These are some of the assets that I worked on with a couple other guys for a game level assignment. My task was prop modeling, lighting and assisting in the set dressing. Needs a lot more improvement. Any feedback and advice is greatly appreciated. Flythrough video
Hey guys, i'm working on a sci fi base thingy just to practice my highpoly + baking + texturing skills. i'm not really sure for how i'm going to design the rest of it.. im thinking more panels and bolts! here's what i've got so far - i'm looking to put it on a flat plane and i'm guessing some of the areas wont bake super…
This is a robot I'm modelling now, its a WIP. It will be rigged, animated and textured once I finish modelling it. Im trying to improve my hardsurface modelling skills with blender to see how far I can go using only Vanilla Blender 2.9 Please let me know what you think of it so far :) Would appreciate some feedback!
Following one of dfacto's designs found in the WAYWO Thread I modeled this rifle...highpoly almost done...the muzzle still needs work and overall it misses some high frequency detail...and I think I made the whole rifle a little bit too slim...not visible on the images ;) Concept: Model: Wire:
I decided to wrap this up. Hope you enjoy the environment. All you have to do is download the file for unreal 3 and put the files in this directory. Its about 30 mb. My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps http://www.zshare.net/download/714335983b20246b/
Yay! Another damn Sci-Fi environment =D So I've been working on this about two weeks now, fleshing it out with objects every so often, but I wanted to get some critique and comments on it to see how it's coming along. Possibly a paint-over if anyone's willing to try =]
Right now, I'm working on getting my portfolio off the ground. So far, I've created a header for my name title and the monitor off to the right for my contact info. The lighting is subject to change, but I just wanted to get some overall feedback. One version is has projected shadows ala' an overhead grate or the like. The…
Been working on some Buildings, first for a space station and then I figured they could just double as city blocks for some renders, they're more fun than the space station itself atm. Been using modo's ray GL to place emissive lights something that usually would have been a pain to get done. Still lots left to do, doing a…
I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and make some sort of sci-fi weapon. This was a speed modeling/texturing exercise that took me 8 hours (a time frame I established before starting). I began with a very rough sketch/doodle and improvised along the way. All renders are realtime in Marmoset toolbag 2. Textured using…
I know there's really no wrong way to make something look futuristic, but this is my first go with futuristic stuff and as well as no concept. It's all about me using my artistic license, which is a lot more daunting with 3d modeling then it is 2d. Thanks!
