Here's a matte painting that was created for my Digital Design Aesthetics class. We were tasked with designing and illustrating an environment using Photoshop CC. Hello all I'm wondering if anyone can help, I have been using the free vertex painter plugin found in the assets store which works great on mesh generated within unity, however I am having difficulty using it with any imported Maya mesh, does anyone know how I can paint the verts on an imported mesh? Thank you

Hey guys, whenever I try to convert a paint FX stroke to polygons, the leaf planes stay okay, but the tree bark becomes flattened and orients itself to the camera. It's weird. I just want the tree bark to be a tree bark which is cylindrical! Any ideas? Thanks!
Nevermind I figured it out. If you add a paint layer between the objects, it shades out the objects above and shows the painting behind it, but when you finalize it only shows up on the layers below.
