I am trying to set up a scene where I get a depth of field pass on a box, and the result is everything is blurry. The scene contains 4 photometric lights and a camera, with a plane as a backdrop. I've been rendering with mental ray, and set up the multipass effect for the mental ray depth of field. Looked through autodesks…
I've created a height fog actor and have begun tweaking it in its properties but no amount of changes seem to alter what is being displayed (including the "enable} box.) I selected "f" in the view space to toggle the fog on and off, and it does exactly that, but I will still see the fog even when the properties tell me…
this is something that I have been working on here and there over the last few weeks, but Haz's post and the fact that its needed for a project pretty soon have given me the balls I needed to post it now I'm not exactly great at males but my female form in particular is bobbins, so I'm hoping that the good people of…
Leibarg: yeah, I was thinking about doing an F-14 first, but it was a little too complex for my time shedule. And yes, I'll be adding seams and panels and screws in PS. I will try to find new informations about this... I'm really sorry. :poly103: A workaround for the moment is to copy the…
- looking past all this ubisoft crap drm controversy, I feel sorry for all the artists whom get possibly screwed by this - seeing a wonderful game, their blood and sweat and tears being f**ked up by there own company's publisher... If the game fails to make a profit - whose jobs get cut? - certainly not the…

@Rorsh Thank you for providing those sample images. The Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 VR DX is one of their softer kit lenses. Stopping down to somewhere between f/5.6 and f/8 should help sharpen things up a bit. It also looks like the camera is having some minor back focusing issues in the first two photos. Stopping down to…
