Hi,This is my first model in Maya and I am doing my UV for the first time,Do you guys conveting your mesh to smooth with "Smooth Mesh Preview to Polygon" and then you do the UV?Because I am doing the UV with a mesh and when I press 3 on the keyboard I see the mesh becomes red in the UV.
Im sorry if this is a dumb question, but Im new lol. If you submit a model to polycount do you add screenshots? If so hows it done? In the zip or seperate. I just wasnt sure if they took them or I should provide. lol If anyone could let me know I would greatly appreciate it. If not that great too. Thanks

Hi! Currently experimenting with a few different things and one of the them is decimation master. Is it correct to do base mesh(maya) > high poly(zbrush) > duplicate > decimate > export to maya for re-topology with quad draw and then use that mesh as your low poly? Or am I missing something?
I still haven't gotten on to learning Zbrush that well yet, but in terms of game art, are things typically done low poly in a 3d program and then taken into Zbrush for making the high poly and generating the normals? Are Sub divisions still widely used or does Zbrush make them redundant? cheers.

How do I delete these instance parameters? I cleared them in the actual nodes itself. Whenever I drag and drop the graph into another graph, the overall node still has all the ones that should have been deleted.
