How do I delete these instance parameters? I cleared them in the actual nodes itself. Whenever I drag and drop the graph into another graph, the overall node still has all the ones that should have been deleted.
Turns out that if I clear the parameters then click on the node, press cCtrl+P, then edit the prefix, Substance will ask me if I want to kill off everything else. I suppose it's a solution, but is there just a better way of individually deleting them?
Yes there is a better way. Go into your Graph properties, by double-clicking in an empty area when you have the graph ("grease" in your case) open. Under "Input Parameters" all your exposed parameters are listed. Just click the X next to them to delete them. Keep in mind this won't actually remove the link to the apareeter inside your graph! For this you need to find whatever node and parameter you originally exposed, click the expose dropdown menu (sine graph icon) and choose "Clear".
Those two steps will fully erase and reset an exposed parameter.
