Hi, I've got a problem with an obj. file I've imported into 3ds max. Not all of my opacity maps are displaying correctly. I've checked normals and stuff but I can't seem to get these planes normal like the rest of them. Any ideas? Rendered:

Using the RTT option in max 7 to create normal maps projects the lowpoly wireframe onto the normal map. I cannot figure out why this is happening. It seems that I have everything set up exactly the same as the tutorial scene, which renders correctly. Anyone know what option I have somehow turned on to make the wireframe…
So I have these pants to which I want to add some noisemaker detail. Ideally I'd like to do it without bumping the polycount up millions just so the mesh can hold the detail, so what you're lookin at is NOT applied to the mesh. Helloo! I've set up a bunch of CineCamera Actors with settings I like and it's showing BP and particle effects how I like as well. Can't figure out how to render it for a large screen show with all the gizmo icons removed. Thanks for all the help :smile:
Hi Guys, I was just watching some Hair farm videos and wondered if it can be used in anyway for Game Res meshes. http://www.hair-farm.com Has anyone ever tried to use it with 3dsMax Render to Texture? If it were possible it might it could be quite powerful.
