Hey Guys its been ages, but Im still here. (and plan to be much more regular with my posting from now on :) ) Anyway been working to revamp my work and do better with my presentation recently and I think Ive hit the sweet spot. Here is a render of my Cleo in Keyshot. I also got some great advice while at GDC about my work…
Hello friends, I come to ask for help, to see if they can give me the solution... I'm modeling this character, the thing is that I don't know why when I want to take out the Uvs with the Unwrap and keeping polygroups in lowpoly the software freezes. Zbrush gets frozen in "Exported files" Another thing that happens to me…
Hello folks, this is my latest sculpt. Sculpted, Rendered in Zbrush. Post work in Photoshop. The final render is supposed to be in Keyshot. But due to technical limitation; I rendered it in ZBrush instead. Keyshot is pretty rad though. Starting sculpting from the concept is pretty typical; blocking, sectioning, and so on.…
Hello, I have my model (sculpt in zbrush) And have question how to do it. My goal is to learn how texturing is done in production pipeline. Here is my last work that was created based on ref image http://i.imgur.com/iU3jEiE.jpg Used keyshot Mesh had no maps or uv-s or anything. I just sculped in zbrush and ecported as obj…
I redid the hair for Ganondorf, I wanted to do some material rendering and learn Keyshot, so I did a ZBrush sculpt of the hair and removed the sculpt. (I kept a backup in case if I want to make a print out later though) Here is a render from Keyshot: I'm not 100% satisfied by the render, the materials on his shoulder/neck…
Keyshot can get you good quality renders. I would say however, having knowledge of a more complex renderer that is closer to what you might be using is always nice. Now if you're just going for modeling, and need something to present your stuff it'd probably suffice because as I said, there aren't a whole lot of film…
This thread will focus on using standard modeling workflows and ZBrush's Dynamesh workflow to obtain clean hard surface results. Earlier in the year there was an article on Wired talking about a new wheel called the "Softwheel" and thought it would be great to use as a learning asset. Tools- Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, Headus…
Hello WayWo, basically: HB locally (face selection) + MultiCut+Maya Bevel in some parts+Smooth 30 angle+Ca+Dh+Panels. I have to correct some issues by hand ( I have to connect some points in the holes to make the boolean works properly and even remove the extra geo the tool generates ). I used to render in Keyshot so I…
To start things off I began with the Magpul Pistol Grip; will be sticking to mostly a full black look as it easier to sell a product with a default black matte. Found a great product display of a Dark Earth and decided it will be my main target as my first day of study. I started with Keyshot and began watching a couple of…
