If you get paid $20/hr... and you work 4 hours overtime I night... you're actually making $13/hr.... Just gets to the point where you could be earning more money for doing some far easier. -

Seconded for the DC area If you've got a place lined up to intern at, try asking HR if anyone at the company needs a roomate. I occasionaly see "new hire needs roomate" emails sent out by HR people on our community email list. -

Well this was an art test followed by 2 interviews with the HR dept and the Lead and then a final convo about sealing the deal in 2 weeks. It's been 4-5 since then with 2 emails to HR and 1 to the lead without a response. I really liked the feel and they seemed to be really interested at the time. -

I think the only art test I've done was an on-site art test that was part of a 5 hr interview, and then they ended up offering me $10/hr... heh If it's around the holidays, I wouldn't get too worried. Our office is closed for a couple weeks, and I imagine others do something similar. -
