I'm using baked Lighting. So far the scene contains a Directional Light as the Sun and a Sky Light as well as a Post Processing Volume and a Sphere Reflection Capture. The problem is if I increase the strength of the Global illumination the darker parts of the scene get more visible but the other parts of the scene become…
Python: import maya.cmds as cmds cmds.polySelectConstraint(m=3, t=0x8000, sm=1) MEL: polySelectConstraint -m 3 -t 0x8000 -sm 1; I don't think you would need to reset constraints after this. http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/maya2014/en_US/CommandsPython/ CTRL+F "polySelectConstraint"
thanks, creationtwentytwo of course it'll be some radiation protection and other more "survival in radiation" stuff. but the game world is not typical fallout type - there so such high radiation zones with people wearing gasmask all the time, mutants and stuff. it's like a new world after global war conflict with a use of…
Tried these drivers out last night. They don't seem very stable. I turned the AO on Globally, and didn't notice the AO in TF2. I did have screen flickering from time to time, and a minor lag issue. Vista64, Dual GTX 260's So yeah, not so stable for me. :)
Its to be expected with the economic problems that are affecting everyone globally, people enjoy entertainment, and as things get tight gaming offers more enjoyment per 1$ you spend than you spend on a night out. I think the PS2 keeps going because the games are cheaper and theres a massive back catalog.
Very interesting article for those of us who have interest in facial modeling and animation. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8199951.stm That splains much of anime... :) So sounds like if the game is a global audience, the amount of morphs or bones around the eye need to increase as well as having animated pupil…
so im having issues with maya 8 casting photons. i have mental ray as my renderer. I have enabled global ilumination and have my light to cast 10000 photons. i see the photons being casted since it shows me on the viewport with the photon map but i see it having no effect on my scene any thoughts?
I wanted to start a thread i can update as i progress. Theme is a sci fi lab. Working off a few pieces of concept that im merging. Using the laser from the global agenda piece and the layout for the room from this piece i found during a search. Going to end up being some kinda of laser testing facility
3dsmax 2012 render settings: scanline renderer use cage global supersampler none catmull rom filter highpoly mesh - 550,314 tris low poly - 352 tris 1024x1024 resolution. took me around 30 min. Is that normal? last time i rmb it takes only 5-10min max.
I'm not sure if it's possible or what I should look into but I'd like to use a level sequence to create a multi-scene cinematic. Is it possible to preload all the scenes to quickly transition from one to the next? The scenes are fairly light weight but they all require different directional light settings, exponential fog,…
