Hi Guys, It's been a while since my last post here. I've been busy with others projects but I'm still working on my personal projects. I stop the Qunari fannart for a while. I'm working on a character that I star to a contest here on polycount forum. It's my adventure character. She is a pilot I like the idea so I decide…
7th May - 2nd Update So who knew I'd be doing a quick update on the same day the pilot post goes up? Just wanted to give a little insight into what I was doing. I decided to change the astronaut/humanoid character to a Terrorist from CS:GO and make it seem like if the game was a 70s/80s Sci Fi shooter. The reference image…
I have dysfunctional memory. But seriously, I have a helluva time remembering people's names. And it's only getting worse as our kids get a wider circle of friends, and I'm supposed to remember their parents' and siblings' names or I look like an inconsiderate dork. Ferg/KeyserSoze I think it has more to do with getting…
For Maya you can make an empty group and move and rotate it exactly the way you want the pivot to be. Then parent the object to it and freeze the object, it will use the groups' pivot.
Doesn't matter in the case of pillars really. As long as the pivot point is placed sensibly. UDK uses 0,0,0 coordinates of the 3d modeling software as the pivot point for the exported mesh.
You can try instead of negative scaling, rotate 180 on Y. Just be sure to center pivot first then then move pivot on one axis to where middle of the mesh is.
Probably cut a hemisphere into 4 pieces, making 2 modules. One piece that tiles around 3 times and one unique piece that contains the damage. It should be fairly easy if you leave the objects pivot in the center, when you import your slice all you would have to do is copy and rotate it. I would start with a sphere, which…

The tag needs it's object pivot moving. Skin and Physique animate the geometry, but leave the pivot in place. Think of the tag more like a bone than geometry.
