Hey guys! Currently working on this character here, but need some criticisms. Got it to the best of my knowledge. Looked at proportions, anatomy etc. Still early stages. I'm going for a fighter type of character with lean muscles but quite defined. Want to progress with sculpting the muscles, but I do believe that the head…
Hi :-) I was wondering if it's possible to extract just a sculpt layer as a displacement map for use in the texturing app. Tried Zbrushs' function to bake displacement to a lower subdivision level. In this case the deformation is partly visible in the lower levels as well, making the displacement map inaccurate. I read…
Hi everyone. I'm trying to learn to sculpt characters in Zbrush. I've found quite a lot of tutorials but I noticed a lot of them use a basemesh and don't explain a lot of more in depth stuff about the anatomy and so on. I was wondering if any of you know some good courses, tutorials, resources for people trying to get into…
hey guys! I have a problem with zbrush, when trimming/sculpting certain edges on certain sides of my mesh. And it is annoying as hell! See screenshot. Tried to find stuff about this on the webs, but no luck. So i thought i should ask here if anybody knows about this too and maybe knows what the problem is. thx in advance…

Also I was wondering how do you sculpt wood in zbrush and how do you set up brushes if needed. I know there are probraby tutorials to show me but my internet…

I think I'm lacking artistic skills and I want to improve myself. I'm currently working in improving my portfolio and I'll need a lot of help from the community. Any feedback is…
started learning Zbrush a few weeks ago, today i actually set down and tried to sculpt: What should I add change? Should i add hair or something like that? Thanks.
Not too bad of a sculpt! I suggest you using Inflat brush on the ears. Also, make sure to always use reference - don't even start sculpting w/o some reference in front of you (I kept making that mistake in the beginning). That way, you'll learn a lot and we can give you better critiques and comments. Good luck!
