tiling textures: you can "wrap" the coordinate in the shader prior making the look up. You only have to preserve original texture coordinate gradients so that the mipmaps are not screwed. Basically mipmaps are computed from the difference of texture coordinates with quad (2x2 pixel threads). When you do the coordinate…
Very nice high polys for the telephone and gramophone! I think your hardsurface is great, your anatomy is good. I think that what makes the larger head look odd instead of stylized on the girl is that both the face and body are pretty realistic, and you'd expect a more cartoonified look when the proportions are like that.…
@Eric Chadwick No luck on this other than remodel the affected mesh. Yes this is different interior from AS. That one also had an issue with seats and remodeling them with proper UV layout resolved the issue. Also I rechecked the updated Unity manuals and now they have this UV2 (Unity) UV3 (3ds Max) for realtime lightmaps…
Quick update - we're still recruiting for the above positions (edited them to reflect latest needs). Also, here's a little WIP preview of the island: Default engine lighting, some odd fog post process, and some placeholder textures to help define colors and regions while we work on the heightmap. We still have a small…
Do you happen to know the type of that samsung? I have seen and worked with samsungs before, for me it's a nono-brand, only the most crap TN-panels with 10 degrees viewing angle, that's right, even sitting exactly in the middle and not moving your head is bad already. Perhaps you mean this one:…

[ QUOTE ] Trying to keep this guy in his early twenties and stay away from the shiny and over defined q3-esque style. [/ QUOTE ] He's reading a bit older than early twenties to me. I think it might be the combination of his squarish face and his stubble. He seems to have a hardened look to him (ie been in jail for a few…
Hello, I'm attempting a small project and was wondering about setting up a convenient tool/rig for adding variation to a model. This is the low poly (981 polys) with the Normal Map of my Mudbox sculpt. By selecting the tops of each stone and changing the height and/or making them uneven with some rotation I can get the…
Hello, I am working on my first videogame which will be small in scale. Just a 3d sword fighting game with a few buildings, underground section and maybe some roads with some vegetation. I have 1 other person helping me at the moment (a few more would be great!) and the aim is to finish it by the end of the year. Or even…
Hi Polycount! It's been a while. I have been hard at work with a programmer, working on a small demo remake of the original Digimon World game on PS1. Of course, as there are only two of us (plus a musician), we can't possibly hope to make the entire game. As such, we are only recreating a tiny portion of it. This project…
