turbulence still freaks me out but i love take off, the whole build up to it i'm pretending i'm like a mech pilot preparing for launch or thinking about the BSG viper launch. I'm 33....single....rethinking life now....i hate flying.... -

If someone had told me this was a made for tv movie, possibly on syfy, or maybe a 2 hour pilot for a tv show, I'd believe them. I was excited about this, and usually I'm pretty optimistic when it comes to remakes, sequels, etc; but this does not look all that good. -

Reworked on it this morning after some time away from the computer. I took some liberties on the original concept. The planes that make the "front window" and the "mirror" will show information windows to the pilot , sort of like a HUD. The planes in the wings will relate to the car's engine. Off to unwrap it now. :) -
Spicy Jam Subway Station - Modular Modelling
For this assignment we have to create a building using modular assets that snap together. Earlier this year I made a game concept titled Spicy Jam so will be recreating one of the environments (the Subway/underground) for this project. I didn't get to make concept art so got advice to pick an existing train station to base… -

[WIP] Rhino Car
Hey guys, here's a new project I'm doing for class. I'm following the final drawing in the second image and using some parts of the first. The concept is by Mike Yamada. I'm also thinking about adding a cow catcher/pilot so that when the rhino rams into cars, they push them aside during a race. -

Im gonna be using scan data I captured of myself as a base for my pilot. I heavily decimated the body scan to start blocking out the gear placement. I'm gonna do a refined blockout in zbrush later, but this is still almost concepting. thread in my sig! VVVVV -

What've you got? I like Derwents for traditional, and Pilot 0.5 HB mechanical pencils. And my all-time favorite Mongol No.2 You need to break down those torso further, and start from basic swooping curves before getting into the details. Good start! -
Re: release the heads!
MoPs model with my skin. An Alien movie-like character. Perhaps the biggest resemblance is the female pilot of the second movie, but I haven't used any particular reference. I've been getting a lot out of this thread so thanks for all the SDKs. They've really proven useful.
