That 2nd image there isn't Zbrush at all, as far as I can tell. That's all modelled in 3ds max. The 1st image certainly doesn't have any perfectly 90 degree angles - most of what you see can be done using tools like Lazy Mouse (smooths the brush to make it more regular) or custom Alpha masks (square sided images).
HI When I am exporting my displacement and normal maps from z brush using multi exporter, I am getting jagged cubes on my maps, where as uv seems fine to me as I have unwrapped it in maya and it has udims. Kindly help me !!
Quick and easy (probably). Got a mesh, want to polypaint a pattern onto it that I've made in Photoshop, saved as a jpg. Load the texture (black and white), add to spotlight, turn on polypaint and set my brush to RGB only. When I paint there is no black paint applied below. There's just nothing. Am I being stupid here and…
The cavity masking option in the brush palette doesn't seem to be working - only just noticed that as I'm using a lot of cavity polypainting at the moment. Mask by cavity in the masking menu is functioning but it's displaying the mask which is obstructing the view. Any ideas? Does anyone else have the same problem?
Hi guys. Im just working on a couple of models that will soon need to be textured and I'd like to create the diffuse by polypainting it in ZBrush then finish by touching it up in Photoshop (normally I would just do the whole diffuse in Photoshop). My problem is that I have no clue on the workflow used when doing this, for…

Is the left click and mouse down on the model that zooms out to fill the screen a new feature? If so, has anyone had issues where its making the tablet zoom out unconventionality when your zoomed in and painting/sculpting? Not even lifting the brush!
Hi guys, I am a Blender (with Maya style navigation) and ZBrush user, switching to Maya. I am used to the ZBrush navigation with my Pen Display and the Maya navigation is a bit weird for my taste. It is completely different to the ZBrush navigation. With my mouse, its no problem, but I want to switch entirely to work with…
Isnt there a human head brush now for zbrush, that allows you to insert a head in to the scene. Try re-topoing that to understand the geometry flows and all. Or use reference.
