Hello everybody, New year, new project :) Here is the picture that I used as reference: I decided to start with the props, here is what I got until now This is my current stage: blocking in stuff and the proportions :) Please feel free to suggest changes and give me as much feedback as possible Thank you, Dani.
It looks good so far, though it needs more rubble. Perhaps some damage done to the roadway and pavement. There are videos on ww2 to be found on youtube and google is wonderful for finding reference images.
Something I did recently , 3 256 X 256, the head I still need to paint in the teeth/ mouth chamber (I made a 2nd version that has a mouth chamber after I had started, I'll post screens of that later. all hand painted to the best of my abilities, critics and such are welcomed im always looking to try and improve
This was done for the Stainless Steel Art test. 550-600 tri(mine just hit 600) model for a RTS, with a 512 texture map. Heres what i turned in. Kinda late for C&C, but thought i would share since this is just my 2nd post here.
Re-visiting this model, adding detail and eventually an NPR rendering scheme. Blender's Freestyle line renderer does a pretty decent job of picking out the edges but I'll tweak it more as I go along.
Just a simple blockout, if anyone has any tiger refs it would be much appreciated if you could zip em up for me :) As always, crits and comments accepted! Planning on putting this into a DoD map for my Realism Team and maybe creating my own scene with this racing through the desert :)
@arnov Thanks! It's my own design and composition, but I referenced a lot of Battlefield 1 concepts and key art. That stuff really inspired me to shoot for an honest depiction of a WWI trench raider, hence the blood.
