Sweet weapon! but i feel you have some issues with your textures.....your far shot the gun holds up pretty well but there are issues with the the overall damage of the gun and in some places the damage does not make sense in the area that it is in. Most notably the casing ejection area there are alot of scratches going down almost as if a rake was taken to the wood. Also the overall damage to the weapon just feels over the top especially on the brushed metal area. also i feel you are having noticeable Texel density issues on the sites of the weapon.
Great improvement so far! I like the new direction much better. I would maybe amp up the 'used' look where the gun is held, i see you have some contrast in there but its pretty subtle, i wonder what it would look like with more staining/varathane wearing off, grunge where you hold it. Although thats kind of context sensitive i guess.
