Hey there Just wondering in the correct workflow for polypainting and posing. My model is very stylized cartoon and quite symmetrical. So it feels like it would be easier to polypaint first. I don't know if that will affect posing at all? Thanks so much!
here's a guy i did to test out dynamesh. just about everything but the hands started from a sphere. i continued detailing and polypainting it and then rendered it zbrush . you can actually use polypaint when its a dynamesh, but don't hide your polypaint and ctrl drag or it will delete your polypaint.
I've got following problem: to bake the polypaint from high poly to low poly, I must have both models in the same size and position. I tried applying Polypaint before I create the IMM Brush/Object, But when I try to use the IMM Object Brush it does not apply the Polypaint. You mean applying the Polypaint before 'create InsertMesh'?
Okay so I built a pure quad base mesh t-pose for my character, was lazy and did not UV it right away. So after the sculpt and polypaint were finished I UV'd the tpose version of my character.
