Picking a color sends it to the background swatch, while the color values sliders (RGB / HSB / etc.) reflect the background color as well. I've had this problem before, but only when working with large PSD files. I've found that if your file is too large, when you save it Max and Photoshop fight over it, and Max wont update it. Not sure about the targa issue though. How large is your texture file?

I'm running into this problem where snap to grid has to be turned on for every single layer and switching between images it also has to be enabled. What is also weird is I must enable it with ctrl + shift + ; or else it doesn't work. Any know what the deal is here. Enabling it in the interface doesn't even do anything.
