doesnt look as bad as I expected. ill reserve judgement till I actually see it, hoping it has the fun that pirates had to it. also, ben kingsley was awesome in sexy beast.
Think I'll have a beast at this one. Here's a rough sketch of what I had in mind (the swirlies will be coming out of the tv set, and there'l be loadsa betamax cassettes lying about)
So I am working on my petrol blood entry, I got a link here. Here is a picture of my concept for the beast. And here is a speed Painting for today, 1 hour.
The head is starting to get a simian look; I think the problem is the shape of the nose and snout. His posture is far to perfect for a beast man; angle him forward and give him a slouch.
if you normal mapped this hugh beast with your old mid-poly model, it would look awesome! He looks very buff and ready to do some destruction! Very cool!
These model look good. I especially like the Icarus character and saddled beast. It's a shame you didn't texture these yourself. Might be worth it to learn to push your art to the next level.
No problem.. Once the head is on, try getting a hunched look to it, to emphasise that man-beast thang. If that's what you're after. I found "An American Werewolf In London" and "The Howling (1)" to be great references.
Some lineart of a llama rider dwarf, based on something Even Mehl Amundsen (check out his work!!) did :) Crits welcome, lineart is a whole new beast for me to be honest.
lets see now... in the order i can think of it: evil the beast jurrasic park forrest gump anything pixar (fave is the incredibles) the good the bad and the ugly scarface die f
