Hi, I wanted to ask if this is possible where u can select some faces using a black and white map like the Vol. Select modifier in 3dsmax. Is there anything like this in Blender?
Been using MAX for 5 years. Archi Rendering and Professional Game Design. I'm getting sick of it however, it's extremely dated and relies too heavily on plugins. Still no way to make a circle without scripts. Would you guys switch to Maya or Blender?
Got a quick job to do. Either I am not applying the shrinkwrap modifier correctly, or its busted in the release candidate version of Blender. I'd like to use 2.8 so Im wondering if there is a version I can download where the modifier works. Cheers

Hi Blender 2.9 I am having trouble with inserting a pole bone on the elbow joint. Everything goes well till I make the chain length 1. The bone axis(es) have been unified to face +Y and transform history set to zero. Am following a tute and studied that part quite a bit but haven't found a solution. Any help appreciated.
