Hi I am having issues with some of Quixel options not working, particularly in 3DO. For example the mesh options won't change, e.g from a cube to a sphere. I can't clear the scene or load textures in. Some things still work like the sliders in the materials. I have tried everything on the troubleshooting page.
Really appreciate the thoughtful comment and you're raising a fair point worth addressing clearly. To answer directly: no, the Smart Assistant doesn't use ML or any AI model. The keyword scoring system is fully deterministic it matches your input against a weighted keyword library (200+ terms) and ranks layer setups by…
I have survived!!! I am currently in the house of my brother and sister back in the Netherlands after travelling for nearly 5 months :) . Crazy experiences and great new people, readjusting to the normal world probably won't be that easy ;) . Thanks for the support, once I have my own computer again I could make a texture…
Im reading up on some baking guides and was confused on where the rays come from and where they go because some guides say the rays start at the low poly and go out until it passes through the high poly getting the details. Others say it comes down and hits both the high and low getting the detail from the high. I read the…
So I know how to make a relatively simple stylized stone material in SD: When I apply the same knowledge to tree bark, I find myself not able to find a good noise filter that only roughen the edges of each "piece" of bark, if you know what I mean: The key problem here is I want a stylized bark, so high frequency noise…
Ok, that's a little better, it now points left/right/up/down in roughly the right places. Another thing I'd do is paint a little bit of grime (scuff marks, edge wear, etc) onto that dartboard and lighten the black a little. The diffuse will be multiplied by the light brightness and being so close to black it'll come out…
Hi, making some props for a friend's game and I'm new to crunchin' the polys. The poly limits for each item was 200-femur, 400-axe, and 210-doll so I managed to meet the restrictions for each model, but it was kind of tough. Any advice on cutting corners or some mistakes I made would be nice, thanks.
Im an old Mayan and the closest thing that comes to mind when working with what you describe in Maya would be NEX (https://draster.com/nex-1.5/overview.html). I haven't touched NEX in many years so i don't really know what they are upto these days, but yeah Modo's selection is pretty good, not that it perfect but The…
Hey guys, just wanted to share some of t3d models I've made recently for my game project. Hope you'll like it :) P.S. Software used is z-brush for hard surface high poly modeling and substance painter for texturing. You can take a look at some more pictures here: https://www.artstation.com/artist/gonzamancg
