I'm currently getting into animation. I tried to make this cube fly a loop, but when I try to rotate along the line using Time Tools > Rotate it flips back after a few frames like this: https://gyazo.com/1e6eb965affafc2f59dd4f4b8db67f61
This looks superb! Well done! I love the details. =) What method did you use to add the text on the mesh? Looks very goood. The only tiny detail I'd suggest. Make the ground underneath look more disturbed from the chopper blades. Like it kicked around some sand as it landed. Totally optional, just a suggestion.
Hey guys! First post on polycount! I Wanted to share this piece, I hope you like it! Introduction I love games like Dead Island or Requisition VR. For this portfolio piece I wanted to get inspired by the crafty, impossible yet believable weapon designs of these games. What better than C4 attached to something like a…
Brand-new to Modo and subd. If anyone can check the attached video and tell me how to add the appropriate loops without destroying curve continuity I'd be grateful and impressed. :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/qlz9lm6tz4k8z0h/Edge_Issue.mp4?dl=0 Thanks so much! _Mike
Does someone know if its possible to do this? To only let the soft selection affect a particular edge loop? Ideal would be if you could select edges you only want it to affect then move the vert on the edge to adjust. this would be the best tool ever. Anybody know a maxscript for this?
Hey there, first Question in this Forum, so here it is: I'm working on a Human Head Basemesh. But aroud the Eye-Browns and the nose i don't know how to avoid N-Gons and Triangles without having useless Edge-Loops. So if i'd do the Edgeloops around the Forehead the would be 2 useless Edgeloops. How can i avoid that?

I have to re-learn Max 2014 for a job, and I'm frustrated that there seems to be no tool for selecting a portion of a loop. I found a thread here that pointed out the Step Mode Toggle, which works nice, but only with faces. Does anyone know of any simple method to do this?
